Why would you choose either ER32 or ER40 collet for PM-1022V?

REGO-FIX Swiss HI-Q/ERC40 Collet Nut different version ball bearing is more costly.

I would start with the machine basics and stock nut to start. I feel there are more important items to start with. You should think about a D1-4 chuck mount if at all possible.
