I imagine the tradeoff is being able to see your fluid level vs being able to use Koolmist. At least they offer the polypro cannister.

Looks like that's Styrene-Acrylonitrile (SAN), not polycarbonate.

There's a regulator upstream of the filter canister. That probably reduces your risk dramatically.

absolutely, no need for high pressure to push the coolant out. I think around 10-15 psi for the fluid delivery. Separate regulator for the air delivery set much higher but I can't remember what right now.
