Finally got around to doing this to my Bridgeport clone mill today. It takes time to do things like this in the shop. The 4 steel pegs with 1/4x20 threads took most of the time. But the time invested will save me hours in the long run. I'm learning about the paper throw-away way cover for the knee. My first one was way too long. I lowered the knee all the way to the bottom and moved it all the way forward to measure how long the paper needed to be. Fact is the range I use my mill in 90% of the time is in the almost all the way up position and midway on the Y axis. So, what I am learning is to stay inside my range and worry about the rest when it comes up.
