What Red Flags Do You See?

looks like there is two missing.. one on the lower right and one on the upper left..
They're probably not missing, they're just snapped off, and shorter than normal. Round ram, obviously not treated very well, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. It's sitting on a clean floor, so it got moved there from who knows what environment.

i seen a tag on the one X axis wheel.. i am thinking it was picked up in a auction for lil of nothing..

So i shot the guy a message asking if he bought it at a auction.. this is the response that i got from him:

"I do buy them at auction. I bring them back to my shop. Check operation of the machine and make sure all items function. If it is in need of repair, I will repair it or give you a list of what is needed and pricing before you buy. You can imagine if a business is going under maintenance and repair budget is first to go. I do my best to take care of all the hurtles between you and a good working mill. Weather (his spelling) that is delivery, phase conversion, cleaning and painting, tuning,, ECT. Most of the people who buy from me, need this tool to do a job. Not for the mill to become a job in and of its self"

The lack of paint on the front of the saddle is likely normal; my mill is unpainted metal in that spot and most original machines seem to be this way.

I'd pass w/o even going to look at it for the reasons most mentioned; looks to be a bit on the worse side of average for use & wear. I'd personally want to see a DRO and X power feed at a 2-3k price point. You won't know if it's a really usable and tight machine worth the $2k without getting your hands on it.
