Me too! Japanese pliers (Engineer, Fujiya, IPS, Lobtex, TTC King...) are an absolute bang for the buck.

Well, it wasn't me buying , but my work sprung for this killer 3D edge finder. I drive a Haas VF-5 3 axis as well as a VF-2 5 axis. The problem is that the VF-5 is soo big you can't see a edge finder pop because the doors has to be closed and the spindle is 100 yards away, so I asked for this....

It is way cool! The doors is open because the spindle is not on and that big dial face rocks

Well it finally arrived. Acra LCM-50. I think it’s from the 2020’s but can’t remember. A pretty good deal off eBay for 6800 before shipping.

Definitely needed the forklift, and the three ton engine crane couldn’t budge it from the pallet. So I’m off to find either a gantry crane or some other way to lift this and get it in the corner.

Little stuff. 10 pieces of 1/2"x1/2" x 4" M2 lathe tool bits. My 3/8" tools didn't quite have the reach for a couple things I needed to do. Figured I could grind a tool or two in 1/2". A bit chunkier than the 3/8" I usually use.

I've only ever bought Engineer tools from Amazon.co.uk so only knew what they had but yesterday I looked at the Engineer website. ( https://www.engineertools-jp.com/ )

I have that one. You will love it! Don't be concerned if it appears to demonstrate stick-slip. Apparently it is normal on first pass each time it sits for a while.
