If the over arm cover is original to this machine, it is much earlier than 60's. Only the first machines built came with the cover.No expert, but I'm thinking mid 70s. I may be totally wrong, but that color IMO is gorgeous.
Make a shelf or bracket to support the bottom of the holder well. They sag if just hung from the slotted holes. Other than that, they seem to work fine. Easier to get the studs in and out, because the threads don't hang up as easily as going through the thin steel holes.Just an Amazon hold down kit I picked up for my mill tooling starter kit. That part ought to be a piece of cake to make.Did not buy it... it was a gift. Friend texted me that he ordered this and it came incomplete... Company sent him another complete set and told him to keep the other one...
He tells me "I know you have all those machines... you can probably make the missing part... yours if you want it"
