I was going to use my coaxial dial indicator.I believe the threaded stud is the wat to go. Perhaps hold the top section of the shaft in a collet to align it,

Or clamp lateral blocks. Been thinking about it.....PERHAPS putting a V-Block or two in there could help

The 67 - 76 bronco's are getting harder to find. I have a 74 Ranger that isn't running right now but I think I can get over 25K for it as is.
