When I was working for the centrifuge manufacturer many years ago, I bought an inside micrometer up to 1 meter, I think I used it a couple times. The smallest ID is 50mm, I might need to take it out and compare to my telescoping gauges and see what I like better.
How else would you know whether it was a small, medium, or large?
I guess that I could see the utility of that if I was a forester but I can think of a lot of things that I would rather spend money on. It wiouls definitely go on my seldom used list.
No wait! I have a worster one that I thought I was going to wear out. I bought this jig grinder back in 2021. Paid around $500. The package included what you see here, bunch of burrs and stone grinding wheels as well as a broken variable speed power supply. Fixed the supply with a new switch.
Used it a couple times, worked wonderfully, puts a beautiful finish in a hardened steel hole. Haven't used it since that job. I don't know why, but I can't seem to part with it although it just sits.
