I remember them being the "latest thing" way back when....
In fact, I think I may still have one with a Gaming system, albeit the UK version was a little different in that the TV antenna connected to the block itself and the "slide switch" would allow you to select between each device.
Used to use one for my two VCR's, until I tuned one VCR into the other. I think we all know why I did that! lol
Another hack I employed.. Antenna to Y splitter, from the y splitter to VCR1 input & VCR 2 input "Y" connector, output of VCR 1 to input of VCR 2 Y connection, output of VCR 2 to TV. I still remember recording different programs on each VCR at the same time. Could have gone further, but it was a little too much aggro to do it.
Well at least I could listen to "The War of The Worlds". It also came in handy to know when they finally nabbed Al Capone, and when Pearl Harbor was bombed
