I recently purchased an older Taft Pierce grinder. It is in need of a wheel cover. Anyone have any detailed pics of one before I start fabri-cobbling something together?
I am also looking for an operator/parts manual for the unit. Hoping someone on the forums may have one.

Any thoughts on this brand? It is solid, and heavy. Should yield nice results. The motor is original (3 phase), but it came with a Hitachi L200 inverter. This will be my first time using a phase converter of any kind.

Nice solid machine. google the machine you will get lots of images to see of the cover. I’d check eBay to someone might be parting one out. And that hitachi is a VFD variable frequency drive. Not a phase converter although it does convert phases for you. If that makes sense.

Not many hits looking for close up detail of the wheel cover.
Also nobody on e-bay parting one. I saw 3 total (all pretty pricey)

I'm finding very little out there for parts. Anyone happen to have any detailed pictures (side view mainly) of a Taft-Peirce grinder?
I see some Reid covers that someone is parting out. I'm waiting to get some dimensions.

Otherwise...I may just have to start making some simple covers.
