[How do I?] Scraping Class Available

I'm in! Will follow up via PM.

This morning I am sending a detailed message to all those who have identified interest in this scraping/rebuilding opportunity.
Note that there are persons outside HM who have potential interest.

At our last scrape session I intended to do some detailed video documentation of scraping and rebuilding for HM. But it was just to much to assist Danich with the class and record. If there is someone who has interest in recording I'm guessing that Danich will approve. But would need to confirm.

Got my scraper today, getting psyched!

I received my spare scraping blade, it has slightly more of a curvature across the front, so I'm happy to have another option in my arsenal.

Sandvicks are controversial for some scrapers here in the US. Dennis will be teaching you to grind/hone and use both flats and radius.

He will also be watching your technique. For those of us with disabilities he works within your limitations to optimize your success.

Dennis sent this pic to me yesterday morning.
We all come to rebuilding with different experience, perspective and goals.
While not required, he is hoping that you might think about this excerpt (from something). Perhaps look up terms and think about flatness, and how it is measured and what it does. Especially in reference to other features.
If you have a copy of Foundations of Mechanical Accuracy by Moore, and/or Connelly's Machine Tool Rebuilding you choose to peruse those in prep for the week.
Moreover think about your short and long term life goals relative to rebuilding. The more questions you bring to this party the more powerful it will be. And we will consequently all learn from the dialogue.

I have a copy of Connelly's Machine Tool Rebuilding, though I cannot seem to find it...

Please understand that no one is suggesting that anyone purchase a copy.

I know but I bought the book over 30 years ago and now when I finally could use it, its nowhere to be found, driving me nuts... Besides it looks like they want almost $200 for a copy!
