Quick ? On Dividing head

All makes sense now, sorry I doubted you. Yes, the BS-0 should handle that easily. Do you have a press and keyway broach to cut the keyway or are you going to use your lathe as a shaper?

Not a problem, yes I have both option's. I figure I'll just use the lathe while I have it dialed in the 4 jaw.

Precision Matthews has "HAD" a BS-1 for sale on eBay for less than half price. Cosmetic blem. The paint on the tail stock is all chipped up. BFD.

Good deal for somebody that wants one.


EDIT: Just went back to their eBay store page to grab a pic and a link, but it appears to have sold already. Not surprised.
 
I have the BS-0 size, has been plenty big enough for everything I've wanted to divide, which have been mainly a few random change gears for the Takisawa. I can't see ever needing bigger.
