Not metal, but it did come out of the shop.Context is it's for a relative who is a federal judge.
After a hand injury, about recovered, I started a laser cut project, got interrupted by "Hey, can you do . . . " and finally completed the thing today after several course changes.
I hacked a file with an extremely liberal licence and gave the creator full credit. I changed the crank to two push rods, and stiffened up the spacers. Added the crank arm, and made the brimmed bottom. Not seen between the two upper layers is an "X" shaped guide in a box that mates with the lower level. After thinking easy peasy with some editing, copy/paste, center vertical and horizontal, it just wasn't. That box just gave me fits learning the software. School of hard knocks.
Hand is now healed enough that, after cleaning up and salvaging the ply worth keeping, I can get back to playing with metal.
