My project was moving my lathe on to its stand to free up a bench. Nerve racking as usual!

This is not really a Project Of The Day as it took multiple days. But it took less than a week so it can't be POTW. Maybe POTDays...

Put a DRO on my old South Bend Mill.

First up, Z-axis

This was by far the most difficult scale to install as the column is tapered in EVERY direction

FWIW my Clausing is the same. I suspect from the factory both the switch on the left and the light on the right aren't square to the collom or the horizon.
