POTD- PROJECT OF THE DAY: What Did You Make In Your Shop Today?

It's not an in-shop project, or even work. Also, this is the first public declaration of what has happened this year. I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (stage 3) earlier this year. My little celebration is that I was declared cancer free this afternoon. It has been a brutal run, and I still struggle to eat. This one fried my taste buds, destroyed veins, killed my baroreceptors (the things that help the body self regulate blood pressure).

I can barely walk (no balance and the work sounds when I stand up), but I can start the healing process now to get back out to the machines eventually.

glad to hear that you came through it.
I hope things get back to normal shortly, but I feel it will be a while before you fully recover. Hoping it's not long.

Hey congratulations man! I hope you gave yourself more than “a little celebration” though…
Seriously, that’s a heck of a thing to be able say and I can only imagine what you went through to get there. Good for you. :encourage:
