OXA 250 QCTP or Original Lantern Tool Post

I have a boat load of these lantern type holders most likely bigger than what you need also . Not sure of the oxa sizes .
I had to make a mounting plate to use the OXA QCTP on the compound slide.

My lantern tool post is about 2.5" or 2.75" tall. It will accept up to 3/8" tooling. The ring is cracked all the way thru where the arrow points to. The key would be 3/8" x 1-3/4" roughly.

I have a set of tool holders in a Atlas branded metal box that I'd like to sell --- I think they were made by Armstrong.

Yeah , OK . I'm sure either would fit that post . :)

Can't figure out how to send a private message with my address????
Go to any post by mmcmdi and click on his name (in blue). That opens a small window that has an option
to start a conversation by clicking on the box.

I did that, as you suggested, but I guess this new forum format doesn't have a Private Mail or message.

I have no experience with the OXA, but I have used both a lantern and an AXA on my Craftsman 12" lathe. I like the AXA much better than the lantern. I found the lantern difficult to adjust and lacking in rigidity.

Not sure I understand this. A "conversation" is a message or PM that goes to an individual.
I just sent you one.

Atlas made two sizes of tool posts, a larger one for the 9", 10" and 12" and a smaller one for the 6". My rocker for the larger one is just a few thou over 3/8" wide (0.379"). None of the catalogs seem to give that dimension but I would guess that the 6" rocker is around 1/4" wide. But that should be enough info for you guys to determine whether of not the rockers that you have are for the 6" or not. Unfortunately, I don't have one.
