I hear ya @Winegrower. My dream "big" lathe is a Victor 16x40. I passed on one at an auction 3? years ago for the same reasons and regret it ever since.

Has Anyone actually found a parts manual for the Osama Sr? Currently rebuilding my cross slide and would be helpful.
