New PM-1236T Lathe has arrived

It’s at 42, you need to use the 0 on the movable scale as the zero point.
Correct. I was attempting to visualize the marks when closed. The OD side would utilize the edge of the movable side as the reference point, is what I was thinking. +10mm for the ID measurement because the zero point on the moveable slide looks to be about 10mm from the edge.
Either way, I don't see 51mm as possible for that bore ID.

I don’t have a PM lathe. I have a PM bench mill, a Bridgeport-clone mill, a grizzly 10x22 lathe, and a 12x36 Clausing. My mill has been a good experience with PM.
Just to follow up Jason - looks like they fixed the Spindle Bore. I'm getting a full walk through video - I'll forward when I get it. I have a pretty decent LMS 6000 series bench mill and an old Grizzly 8" Lathe. Glad to be getting a full size lathe.
