I just saw this thread.
I ordered the June 1990 issue of , Projects in Metal, It has plans for a finger brake. There is another 36" brake in the 1998 series.
I like this plan very much.
It looks heavy duty and properly built.
The cam levers look great. Well done

Attached here is a complete build article including all the photos in a PDF format. I have made a set of prints as I went along , including changes I made. I can send my edited prints to anyone who PM's me and asks for them.

Looks like mark hasn’t been here since 2020 does anyone have his prints by chance?

Hopefully he is well he really did great on this brake.

Man, I was super excited to see him bend a 1/4” with this monster mini brake. I thought for sure there would be a delightful end to such a fun story and project.
