My new Sheldon has landed and I have many questions!

Wonder what it’s for? I don’t have it. I don’t even know where it would mount. Its hard to tell the size of it.

there are 5 drilled holes in the bench behind the lathe those are to bolt the box down it housed the 2 chucks and the milling atachment

the manufacture shows one on every lathe in a picture at the sheldon plant on this style lathe i estimate around 22" long and maybe 9" wide

that is unreal i was way off on my estimate according to my holes i cannot thank you enough thank you very much and i no i will have more questions i am seeing 7 3/8 x 12 5/8" ? are the edges square or plowed out to receive the lid wow than you thank you thank you i wish you were closer to ohio as i would find you a piece of butcherblock off craigs list
