Did a little trading with Benny today and this is what I ended up with, Douglas Horizontal mill with collets & shafts for cutters, Rockwell/Delta band saw, & a 12" Rotary table.

What did you trade for it? Nice collection of machines and accessories. Very nice. :))

beefy! whats the taper?
nice rotary table too, and that bandsaw is nice! I keep hoping that once day bandsaw will get blackballed by osha and the price on them will plummet... hasnt happened yet!

It takes Cat40 & I got several with it including a cat 40 to R8 adapter

I'd say that's a good trade, especially since you're not gonna grind cutters anymore. I'd say you made out quite well. That rotary table looks almost brand new.
The rotary table is very beefy = heavy, it is a Japanese model but seems very solid/tight.

Wow! Good trading going on there! And Benny ends up with more room in his shop. Hope you and Benny both have a happy new year!

There was a Cat #40 in the tooling you got with the machine but it was designed for NMTB-40 in it's day. Not much difference, just a different holding mechanism but the Cat #40 tooling can be made to work.

Thanks for the well wishes Bob.

I thought I got some extra space for the shop with the trade but can't seem to find it. I think Charley pulled one on me.
