Major Fire Near Chico California

When looking at the Weather Channel , it looks like the entire west is burning ! This would be the 2nd largest yearly acreage burned according to them .
Currently it is mostly OR, WA and ID.
The Park fire is the main event in CA, other than that fire it has been a fairly average fire season in CA.
Nationally the 10 year average is 4.2 million acres for this time of year, this year we are at 5.3 million acres.
Alaska hasn't been too busy this year which kind of skews things since it can account for a lot of acres some years which means that extra million acres is coming from smaller states.
