The relevant information on how/where to have pcb boards done and the controller chip code for programming are on thingiverse, Henry has made it open source.
This means someone could order a number of boards and code the controllers and sell them as a starter kit, all the other parts are available from Digikey, the parts list is also available.
This means the ones who want to build one can buy all the parts required and choose to use either red of green displays.
