What I’m seeing is you’re going to need a big tooling plate to span that saddle properly.
And perhaps most importantly some way to adjust the height of the work.

For that basic bar stock and machinist jacks would be my go to.

Both of these should be readily available on a shop with that size machinery and will serve many purposes.

I’ll never forget the day our shop idiot used the shop parallels to make a machine component as he didn’t want to wait for his material to show up.

These things had cutouts and semi precise holes located for doing repetitive jobs that came in every now and then, probably 3-4 sets of them each with multiple sides to them.

Freakin lead man hit the roof.
