It was a dream until it became a nightmare

You are going to like the Kwik Switch 200 system. I learned about this when at a moving sale a guy had a box of these, maybe 15 pieces including the R8 to KS200 adapter and wrench. He and I did not know what they were, but I got the box for $100. Since then, I've added another 15 pieces or so, preloading a number of them for edge finder, center drill, chamfering tool, various "stock" size carbide end mills, and so on. Even though this is just a hobby for me, being able to pop in an edge finder, then a center drill, then a maybe pilot drill, then the desired hole, then countersink and I have a tapping head with a KS200 adapter so then pop that in and tap the hole. It's just so much faster and fun than all the tool changes needed for an operation like this.

I do notice the adapter prices have gone up quite a bit since I acquired most of my stuff.
