If you like it

My swarf broom is cheap and simple.
Some bits of plastic plumbing, a steel bar with old hard drive magnets sitting on them, couple of wooden wheels.
Run it over the floor, hold it around the bottom tube and remove the wheel with the bar and all the chips fall into the bucket. Simples and very cheap.

Thats pretty slick. are there any detailed pictures?

Not really, its just 3 bits of pipe, 1 "T" piece, 2 end caps, 2 bits of ply cut with a hole saw to make the wheels.
1 length of mild steel bar 5x25x 400mm, a bolt welded on one end for that axle, a bolt just through the end cap for the other axle.
pipes into the T are glued, one end cap is glued, the end cap with the bar and magnets is just the press fit.
When you push the bar and magnets home rotate it so the magnets hang at the bottom for the angle you hold the broom.
