I love being Old and Stupid. For over 30 years I had to look like and talk like and act like General Motors wanted me to look and act. Sure is nice just to be me.
Yesterday I went to United to buy my groceries. A nice young man was helping me out of the store with my groceries and there were some ladies outside selling Hot Dogs and Tacos. He asked me If I had tried their delicious food. I asked him what they were selling. After he told me I replied. "I didn't bring my teeth with me so I better pass"

They say that wisdom comes from age and experience. Must be true. At the age of 16, I flexed my muscles to impress the girls. They ignored me or worse laugh at me. Now at the age of 76, I don't bother, because I know that they will ignore me. Although they still laugh at me.

At 16 I was a, as are most young lads, 9' tall and bullet proof, immortal. At 61 I have become quit comfortable with my mortality.

Yesterday now was my 72nd birthday. Was born on my moms 18th birthday. She turned 90. Still a handful. Happy she’s still here.

I’m 52, and still care more than I should what other think of me. But every year, it gets less.
