The video was taken before I actually found the problem. I have also included some still pictures to help explain how the problem can be so elusive. Cutting to the finish line the drawing shows Control Pin Part # 562-085 and spring part #607-053. Well, that damn pin is too short! When the half nut is in the closed position the control pin engages an un-seen slot in Hub assembly 6900-39 via hole in Housing 386-065.

Now that I have explained it all through muddy water and dirty lenses the Power feed arm does NOT control the half nut position. The Half Nut Position controls the position of the Power Feed Arm via Hub Assy 6900-39. So on with the show.

I did disassemble the half nut shaft which has Q-316 cam on it. This allowed me to control the position of Lock Arm 002-055, Having done this I discovered the Control pin was too short at its full locked position to engage the Key Slot in Hub Assy 6900-39.

By now some heads may be spinning. Just imagine all the hours consumed in designing this little Jewel. Simple but not so simple.

All well and good, too bad the volume is so low that one cannot make sense of it.

^^^^ Agreed

Please do what ever is necessary to make the audio intelligible on your videos. The audio is so faint as to be incomprehensible.
I'm not speaking of this video in particular, but regarding each of your videos that I've tried to watch (about 6). Assuming you're recording the video on a phone, perhaps a decent Bluetooth headset, with a microphone that can be place close to your mouth, would do the trick.

Do you ever try to watch your own videos? It's hard to understand how the problem has avoided your attention for so long.

PS: If the lathe problem is solved, congratulations.

Something is certainly wrong. I watch every one of my videos before uploading to YouTube and again from YouTube before posting the links to the forum. It would interesting to know if you go directly to You Tube and watch it if there is also an audio problem. I do use my I-phone to record and I also rewatch immediately after recording from the view screen on my phone. Again from my laptop and again from my desktop computer. I am going to ask the question of others on the forum if they are also having problems. benmychree is also having trouble with the audio.

So as a result of the coments above I am asking other members of the group that have watching my videos if they are also having trouble with the audio. Please respond back with either yes or no. Thanks in advance. PLEASE make sure your volume is turned all the way up. I just rewatched this and it sounds fine from my end.

I haven't watched your video yet. But if you make them, please, please don't require folks to turn the audio to maximum. This makes all other notifications or other videos really loud. Like blasting loud. Please adjust your audio settings on your microphone (or get closer to the mic) so that the playback is with mid-level sound so people can adjust to taste. Think your videos would be more appreciated that way. Just my humble opinion, yours may vary.

Have not watched, but we do setups of other things...

What should the level be?

It should be set so when changing between sources, no adjustments are needed to maintain the same sound level.

Thanks for the reply. I do appreciate your comment however I went back to YouTube and viewed the video directly from the You Tube site and at half volume I could hear the audio just fine. Which gets back to my question Is it something that I can correct or something wrong with the audio on this forum? So please watch the videos and tell me what your experience is.

I have tried to watch about 6 of your videos, played on Youtube, and the audio runs from faint/difficult to unintelligible. I'm watching them on my laptop with the sound level at 100% on both the laptop and the video. I have zero problems hearing other Youtube folks, like Joe Pie, Keith Rucker and many more. Your audio is chronically very low level. I hope you can sort this out. I'd like to learn from what you're trying to show/explain.
