HSS tool blanks

You can get good bargains on the larger 2nd hand HSS bits as the professionals don't want them ( they use inserts) and they are considered too large for most of the hobby users. I agree that 1/2" bits take longer to grind from scratch but once they are ground to the correct shape they can be be sharpened quire quickly.
