How do you get rid of belt squeak?

I usually just give squeaky belts a hard look to quiet them up. Like this.

Good luck finding matched sets of belts now days. The bearing
supply house I have been using told me it doesn't matter to buy a matched set because of the improvement in the manufacturing of the belts. Is this true or were they feeding me a line?

I think it's a line. The batch numbers are still printed on the belts, how hard is it to sell in sets?

Try a bar of Lava soap. It's way better than those nasty ole belt dressings.
