Geometric collapsing tap head questions...

I need some help, as I am unfamiliar on this, and perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place...

I have a friend that has a 1" geometric collapsing tap head, and I think I might have a use for it, but finding any facts or instructions other than an ancient film about them and brochures from vintage machinery, information is almost impossible to find. Does the 1" have capacity from say, 5/8" to 1", or just 1" and above to a point?

I will say I've gotten spoiled with the geometric / rubometric die heads when I want to make several bolts, rods and dies.

Are you talking about a Geometric Die Head ? Pic ?

Not a die head, but a tapping head for internal threads.
It's one of these...

I came across the Geometric manual while I was searching for info on the die heads, the whole manual is too large to upload, but these are the pages that I think are what you have.

I've been trying to find a quick and dirty way of threading stuff 7/8-14 and 1 1/16-20, and some other large project pieces.

I believe from what I've found, the 1" head will not go below about 1.25".
