Juaca: I have recently purchased an Emco Meier Maximat V13 lathe with a two speed motor with the same engine brake that you have. Your wiring diagram is wonderful, but I do have a few questions: first, what is the significance of the colors in the chart? do they represent items removed? Second, do you have details of the items you added such as 24 v power supply, fuses, filters etc. I should say that I am electrically challenged, so rudimentary explanations are in order Third, did you still have the emergency stop on the front of the machine and the directional on the saddle? Fourth, I was thinking of wiring only the low speed winding on the motor and use the VFD to regulate speed. Last, I have a 3 hp Automation Direct (US made) 3 hp VFD which can be fitted with a resistor brake, pot etc. What were the vital functions of the TECO that you had to have? Please forgive all the questions, but because of the engine brake, we haven't been able to fire this up.
