Drill press accessory

in that pic the quill is all the way up. not sure what the throw is, will have to measure.
judging by the depth rod it looks like 5"
Very nice rebuild..
I would like to have that much throw on my drill press, and the lock for the quill. Although I think my speeds trumps yours, I would take yours anyday.

having a table with x and y movement on my new mill made me wish for the same on my drill press. found this used but not abused.

You find the most cool tools... Where did you find this one??

I need something like that for mine... Was not sure what kind I wanted until I saw this thread. I had been looking at the typical drill press vise and just could not pull the trigger on one... not what I wanted...

And I promised to leave the drill press alone with its own patina... does not help looking at what you did with yours... every time I see it I just want to say "forget about it, I am painting mine!".... but I hold back... The job you did on yours makes it look amazing!

Looking forward to the final photo once the table is done...

I disassembled cleaned and lubed the whole thing but didn't re-paint anything above the table except the motor. had a lot of rust on the base. see original patina left on upper section in 2nd pic.

@yota ,

Excellent!
I can make out Palmgren, any idea the model or year of manufacture?

I'm guessing this is the model number. edit I guess not. I googled and the model number is 92-10.
