Nice start Don.

I assume the 2º angle is for the breech block bore, and pic 7 is squaring up the corners in the lathe? Is that a sine bar in pic #3?

If you place your comments under each pic it might be easier to follow for those of us not familiar with the DeHass design.

The breech block comes up 2* off square to "wegde" against cartridge with no headspace. Breechblock will also have a small area at 2* also.
The little bar is a 2* out of my set of angle bars. (not a sine bar)I am holding it in place with 2 small earth magnets. Pic 7 is boring bar ready to start boring round hole. I squared the corners on the square hole at my friends gear & spline shop. We occasionally help each other with government jobs, usually on ladies bingo nite. Can I post pics first then "edit" in my comments under each pic. Can pics be moved from where they land when imported? I have a lot to learn on this posting pics biz. but I am willing. By the way, where did you find the degree symbol on the keyboard?

To add an image to the location of your cursor, just click the "Insert Image" icon and either upload it from your computer or provide a link to an image already posted on line. Once the image is posted you can drag and drop it anywhere you like and add comments to it.

I looked at your last post and the images you uploaded for some reason were not inserted into your post. I stuck them in at the end with spaces between so you can add comments as desired.

The º symbol is an ascii character. To add it just hold the alt key and press 167 on the numeric keypad. There are literally hundreds of those characters available besides the degree symbol. Click here for a chart.

Very helpful. Getting cataract surgery tomorrow am. Should have some free time for a couple days. Will try to get a couple Dehass receiver cut away views copied and posted to help readers out with my posts. Thanks again. Don
