Clint's Optimum TU3008 lathe & BV20 mill

Hi Clint. Scott from Palmerston North (new member). Ive just bought the same lathe /mill combo from Machineryhouse also. I am setting it up on the base suppled as an extra. I’m wondering what you need to do after removing the chuck guard to ensure the safety shut off is disable?

The switch is removed along with the bracket and I just have mine sitting on the headstock at the moment, works fine for now.

I have been trying to find a mill vice for this machine. Needs 115 mm c/c between the T slots. Anyone know of a suitable vice ?
