China telescoping gauge problem

I had a set of Chinese telescoping guages and always struggled with repeatability. Then Mikey advised me to do the above and I got a brand new set of Yuasa guages off ebay for $40. They work much better and are a pleasure to use in comparison. Thanks again Mikey!

I had a set of the chinese gauges... somehow they managed to find their way into the scrap metal barrel...

I now have a set of Starretts and a set of Mitutoyos... I prefer the Starretts.
