Well, got the job done... Both sides. Finish - eh! The bearing hole I took my time with, several spring passes to get it to the right size. Looks good enough for the purpose and everything fits.

Thanks for letting me know. Sometimes when I'm deep in thought, simple things go over my head.

The other night one of the mechanics saw me boring with a head . He told me my bar was in backwards . I asked him why he thought that ? He just replied because it is . I turned the machine on and continued to bore ....................................the OD of the part basically turning with the head . He just walked away .
