Invest in a stand buffer with medium and soft grit wheels and buffing compound. Can make those metal parts shine like mirrors for things that would show in your work.

Then consider THIS radius tool. Ships from UK and takes some time but it goes on your quick change tool post and is easy and accurate to use. For rounded tops of things and balls.
