I posted a comment in a for sale thread for a Gorton 3U pantograph which appeared on another site.
The price was great on this pantograph but it was in GA so it became uneconomical to get that one.
Someone from St. Paul MN saw the comment, sent an email and offered me his 3U complete with a box of letters and numbers for a measly $200!
It'll be a week or two before I can get it but I'm kind of excited about it.
This machine is small enough that it can be set up in my basement until my new shop gets built in the Spring.
No pictures of the entire machine and it looks like it will need a bit of TLC but the letter/number set alone is worth the asking price.
It's a 1935 machine, easily the oldest among my machinery. The seller claims it is fully functional.
I'll proudly add this to my two other Gorton machines. It seems as though I've become a Gorton aficionado.
