Great Pictures Bill, Although I don't really car for Bridgeport mills kinda nice to see the first one made. Be looking for the rest of the pictures.

For the Gunsmiths.

#1 Mortiser for inletting the lock

#2 Horizontal mill for making lock parts.

#3 Stock Duplicating machine.

#4 Pistol Barrel Rifling Machine. Cuts 5 Grooves

#5 View of the cutter

#6 View at the bump stop. The cutter cuts in both directions. On the in cut the bump stop advances the cutter .003. After on complete cycle (5 Grooves) The bump stop is advanced to allow the cutter to be advanced further. This machine was hand operated.

Time for the Smithy owners to drool. This is a Gilman 4in1 machine. Mill (horizontal&Vertical) Lathe and Boring Machine. 2200 lbs.

after seeing your post about visiting the museum i went to the web site, I would love to visit that place

On this line boring machine that valve body and cutter are up to date but the machine is from the late 20's.
