I will be gone all day tomorrow. Our club is taking a trip to the American Precision Museum in Windsor Vermont. I will be sure to take a gazillion pictures. This museum has the very first production Bridgeport Milling Machine.

Sounds like a day well spent, Bill. Hope you have a good, safe trip and an enjoyable time.

Although the exhibit area is pretty small I really enjoyed my visit. I still wear my "I Love Machines" T-shirt. Have a great time

Bill,
You SUCK!

I got to go the APM several times while working in nearby NH. Came away with lots of geat memories, little brass gears, and even a coffee cup with "I Love Old Machines" on it. I tried but was never able to get the "upstairs tour". How did you swing that one?

Gonna take a while to do this. LOL I will try to group them in individual posts'

Pic #2 this greets you at the start

Lawson fully automated production lathe. This one was upstairs and is to be rebuilt next year. Circa 1935.
