I had a white 59 2 door, red interior. Had a 348 in it. I got my hands on a tri power setup and put it on, but could never get it to run with those carbs. I remember the trunk was huge. You could easily get 4 kids in there to sneak into a drive in.
I was a dumb kid back then and my 55 chevy was way more cool and I sold the 59. 2 days later in the middle of the night the cops were knocking on my door asking if I'd planned on getting my car out of the ditch. My dad and I went to look at it, top was caved in, car was destroyed.
In hind sight I wished I'd had been able to keep it, but teenagers don't usually have way to store multiple cars long term.
