In proper "Old English", it would be "tometo, tomato". Yup, I agree, that's why I don't model in plastics much. Most of my scratch work is in brass excepting plastic (electrical) insulation. Cutting and fitting and soldering things together. Or wood for structures, some scratched, some milled shapes. Kits are mostly Zinc-Aluminium castings. (ZAMAK) When I build, I shoot for dimensionally accuracy. Most of my models are electrically powered instead of steam, granted. But they are measurably accurate representations of existing (or used to exist) equipment. The item under debate is not to be sneered at, it is quite creative. But there is nothing "properly scaled" about it. It is not dimemsionally accurate, but unmistakably represesents the concept. As intended. . . I happen to like it, but it isn't a "model" as such. More of a sculpture. . .
