One day at school I lost my thesaurus.
I couldn't find the words to describe just how upset I was.

I can explain the leading causes of anaphylactic shock in a nutshell.

I bought a vegan friend of mine a fancy cook book.
He said unfortunately he couldn't accept it as it was leather bound.
Which translated meant it was too heavy for him to lift it.

tomato ... tomoto

Think of all the plastic models out there... same thing then, they are just illustrations in gluing?
In proper "Old English", it would be "tometo, tomato". Yup, I agree, that's why I don't model in plastics much. Most of my scratch work is in brass excepting plastic (electrical) insulation. Cutting and fitting and soldering things together. Or wood for structures, some scratched, some milled shapes. Kits are mostly Zinc-Aluminium castings. (ZAMAK) When I build, I shoot for dimensionally accuracy. Most of my models are electrically powered instead of steam, granted. But they are measurably accurate representations of existing (or used to exist) equipment. The item under debate is not to be sneered at, it is quite creative. But there is nothing "properly scaled" about it. It is not dimemsionally accurate, but unmistakably represesents the concept. As intended. . . I happen to like it, but it isn't a "model" as such. More of a sculpture. . .

.

Not funny. Unless that is a bag of flour, it could cause serious problems, possible blindness being one. If the guy on the right as my employee, I would fire him on the spot, along with the person filming it.

:no no no:
agree with the first half, but how do you know the guy filming it at fault? If he and the guy who cut the bag, sure he's in on it. But if he and the guy doing the lifting were just filming it, and the third guy acted on impulse, the camera guy isn't at fault.

Good point. It is also possible that the victim was in on it. I have seen more than a few videos where stupid stunts were done for the benefit of making a video. Some interrogation would be in order....or you could just fire everyone connected with the stunt.
