We had projectors in the 70's. Then TV/VCR combo in the 80's.

Projectors? luxury, we used to line up and take turns for the Kinetoscope:

I used to at the arcade when I was a kid. you know the arcade with skee ball and stuff. They had a bunch of Kinescopes.

Cracking a joke at my own expense, I have a new smart phone. But haven't figured out how to use it yet. I still use my father's reading glass. No buttons to push, no battery to fail. . .

Actually happens a lot in our area since our 27 year veteran retired....not sure reading English is a requirement for employment for the newer employees...
