I was seriously considering some dowel pin plates instead of the sine bar. Then I saw they're around $35 on eBay. Obviously quality varies, but if you've already got some gage blocks (or the will to cut custom risers)...

I don't remember seeing your CNC Plasma Cutter before.
I'd like to see it in it's own project thread because, I expect, it could generate a lot of questions and conversation.
Show what it's all about. Soup to nuts.

I'm interested in that project.

I agree. @DavidR8 , did you purchase plans, or is this a self- designed path? How large, and how much are you willing to write up about it?

Was working on the knurler design from @mikey. Then realized my lathe was cutting a taper and spent way too long chasing it down. It's right on now, so tomorrow it will be 0.005/inch off. Now I wait for taps. Could have sworn I had a 10-32 and 1/4-28. I'll find them when the new ones get here. :)

CNC plasma cutter build

I've wanted a small CNC plasma cutter for a while. I can't afford the space to have a permanent table so I scoured the web looking for ideas. Biggest criteria is size; it had to be small enough to fit on my 2x3 welding table or be portable enough to store out of the way. Discovered Dacs Garage...
