Hi Mike,Franco, hope your up and back to normal soon. Doesn't sound like any fun at all. I asked my old doc about it years ago, and he told me you will never see a doctor have that surgery. Hopefully they have gotten better at it.
Bruce, that is pretty bizarre, glad it ended well. I've done sit-ups/crunches all my adult life. Had to give them up with the back issue. April will be a year with the back, and then hopefully, will be slowly getting back into my normal exercise routine. May have to modify to suit. This aging thing can be a challenge at times. Mike
I knew it when it tore, felt a "pop" had no pain. Fortunately it was my stomach poking through, not the small intestines. I had one in the groin area repaired 18 months ago that was about a 1/2" hole, sure knew it when my guts were poking through the hole. The golden years aren't all what they're cracked up to be . . .
