For internal rust removal I submerge the part in Evaporust and shake a bit to remove any trapped air. I have even plugged ends of passages and then filled the passage.
I was opting for electrolysis as most cost effective. Would take about 5 gal of evaporust to submerge the engine. At $30/ gal. The rust inside this engine is so heavy that would not leave much life of the evaporust I am thinking.
I might try f350ca suggestion of the molasses and mix with pop maybe (I don't drink anyway) over the evaporust. Just to much rust[emoji53]

A feed store is your best bet to get molasses, take a container, they have it in bulk and sell it by the pound. Enough to mix up a 45 gal barrel when I rebuilt the shaper was about $20.

Got done building my Clamp Rack for most of my wood clamps. Added some shelves to hold Glue, sandpaper and other misc stuff. I modeled it from the one I seen at a woodworker supply store that is too costly for what it is. I have probably a total of $50 in it, including casters. 18" x 24" at base, 16" x 18" at top, 76" high with casters.

You can never have too many clamps! Nice storage idea, on my "to do" list for the summer.

I haven't had anything to share for a while (trip to the beach with the wife) but I got some progress on the long list of unfinished projects. Another paint job, this time on a grinder stand for my Baldor 7" grinder. Not shown was two applications of plastic filler to smooth out the welds and give it the "cast" appearance.

How did you get the base rounded like that?
