Sort of off topic... I haven't had any time to play in the metal shop because my real job (cabinetmaking) has gotten in the way. But I have a client who wanted a unit built of 1 inch thick quarter-sawn oak plywood. Which, of course, is unobtanium. So I set up a vacuum station and have spent the last couple of days gluing 2-ply oak veneer onto 1 inch maple ply. Once I have all the pieces roughed out and veneered, I'll cut them to size, edgeband, finish, and put it all together.
