will the bottom bracket move out of the way if the table gets jammed into the wheel?

well the bottom bracket bend out of the way if the table gets jammed into the wheel?

The bottom brackets are 1/2" steel, so not likely, it would probably stop the wheel from spinning of shatter the (AO) wheel first.

Grinders, Grinders everywhere, and I'm out of space.
With the break in the weather I started straightening out my grinders and finished mounting them.
Hauled them all out to the driveway to dress and true them up and keep the dust out of the shop.
The Baldor has a green wheel and a medium on it, the 6" Craftsman has deburring/polishing wheels
on it, and the 8"er has medium and course.
I believe that I'm going to try to copy the tool rest setup that DanS has on his Baldor.
I've got a problem on the 8" with the tool rests, They are 'bouncing' to beat the band when I place
the item to be ground on them.
Now I just have to figure out where in the devil to put them in the shop...

P1080875-r.jpg <<- AN attempt to keep the 8" weighted down. It's a hub from the rear axle of a Mack truck.

nice cart, what do you think of that welder? lets see a couple beads

Still learning how to set it for DC Welding. 90 Amps. Welded cart with it and some welds look good with penetration. Some look like hell but still got penetration. Still having trouble keeping tungsten out of puddle or touching filler rod. Getting plenty of practice grinding tungsten tho. :D
Haven't tried Aluminum yet. Might give it a try tomorrow if I get a chance.

Added some rod holders and a tray to hold the TIG cups and other consumables on the side of my new cart.

When I glanced at the sentence without reading it properly my brain interpreted it as

"he's fitting a cup holder to the side of his cart, that's a handy idea"

Trying to find some springs to add to it.
Hard time finding some the right size.
1" ID x 1-3/8 OD x 3" long

Ahhh yes I remember my first time lol.
Remember the rule of one amp per thou of thickness with steel, decrease a little for stainless and increase for alum. What size rod are you using?
